Costa Mesa is a California city known for food, shopping, art, music and more. However, the local visitors bureau was having trouble drawing people from other SoCal cities. I worked with the team at The James Agency and Travel Costa Mesa to reposition the city as an eclectic destination to do it all, highlighting a couple clear differentiators we all appreciate—time and convenience.
While many cities can boast variety, few others (especially in California) can claim that all the best local spots are mere minutes away from each other. We launched the updated strategy and campaign through a series of videos, digital executions and a booth for an upcoming culinary event.
